Underfloor Warming

« Underfloor Heating Applications

This, as the name suggests, is a method of 'warming' traditionally cold surfaces such as ceramic, marble, stone even timber to create a touch of luxury.
The structure of the room being warmed will determine what temperatures can be achieved.  If full comfort temperatures are required, a full design will need to be carried out to calculate if this is possible.
Controlling your comfort temperature is easy using fully programmable thermostats linked to floor sensors. Surface temperatures can be adjusted at the thermostat to suit the floor structure and finish.

Underfloor Heating (UK) with the support of Europes leading manufacturers will design and install an underfloor warming solution to your requirements.

Product Choices

There are three products of choice when renovating floors and for use with thin floors. Each product is used for different floor types and requirements:

Devi Matting

Both Devimat 100 and 150 are just 3-5 mm thick including a self adhesive layer making them ideal for use when floor height is crucial or when installing underfloor warming on top of an existing floor.

  1. Devimat 100 W/m2
Devimat 100 is the product of choice when installing in a timber construction.
  2. Devimat 150 W/m2
Devimat 150 is ideal for installation on top of an existing solid floor and with a concrete construction.
  3. Deviflex Cable System
When floor height is not crucial Deviflex and screed is being considered, a heating cable may be the product of choice.  The type and size of cable will be determined once design is carried out.

Note: It is important to choose the right sized mat for your project as the Devimat cannot be cut or shortened. (see 'Design it For Me')
